Graham Cracker Turkey's

This is a really fun cooking activity to do with your children right before Thanksgiving!

Ingredients:

* 1/4 cup unsweetened frozen apple juice concentrate
* 1/4 cup vegetable oil
* 1 sliced banana
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon
* 1 cup graham flour
* 2 cup whole wheat flour
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* Turkey Cookie cutter

Directions:

1. Combine in a blender the apple juice, vegetable oil, banana, vanilla, and cinnamon.
2. In a large bowl mix together the graham flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. Add apple juice mixture to the flour mixture and stir thoroughly.
4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out turkey shapes with a cookie cutter.
5. Using a fork, poke holes in the turkey to make eyes and feathers.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.

Additional Information:

* Serve the turkey crackers plain or let the children spread them with peanut butter.
* Makes 2-3 dozen turkeys
